Happy B-Day to my favorite Aunt
Today is my favorite aunt's birthday. Do to her YOUNG age she is part surrogate mother and part best friend to me. I wanted to take the opportunity to tell the world (or the 4 people who actually still read this) what a wonderful person she is and how much she means to me.
For nearly years we were the closest members of the family to each other (geographically speaking) and sporadically over that time we took great advantage of this fact.

There is no one on earth who could possibly have an aunt who is more genuinely concerned for them, more loving of them, or more willing to help them. And through her layers upon layers of sarcasm and ridicule (mostly well meaning), I hear the underlying message every time, "I love you."
So in the words of Ruby porter… happy birthday to you … “Aw aw arwwooooo!”
