Fishing?
I have gotten back into fishing again lately. More specifically I have gotten back into fly fishing lately. This last week I was out on the Boise river and had quite the eclectic catch for the day:
- 3" white fish
- 10" German brown trout
- 6 oz. bat
It hissed at me when it touched the headlight, thus the reaction.

Wow, I never check your blog, you post so infrequently. Imagine my surprise to find something from you here. I have one comment to stay to this post--thank you for not getting rabies.
Well, I am slower than Kodie at checking your blog. I loved that the bat hissed at you. It reminds me of the time I called Cameron upstairs to capture and remove a bat from the white room. After grounding it with a blanket, he got it under a five gallon bucket. He raised the bucket to peek in and got the hissing treatment. He had the same reaction as you. It's a little startling.
